Is the only difference the baffling/imitation swirl pot around the supply port?

The carb one has both fuel supply and return ports does it not?


Also during my searches i think i saw that corsa b tanks fit as well just that the filler port is in a different location? Corsa b tank + corsa b filler hose + nova = winner?

im trying to sort out a 16xe conversion, i dont remember what the ports on the fuel tank look like but if the only difference is the internal baffling then the carb tank is staying for now lol

SPI tanks have an in-tank pump under the rear seats. MPI tanks have a swirl pot I think. Carb tanks have neither.

MPi does have a swirl pot BUT external pump, has both inlet and outlet

Carb has external mechanical pump, NO swirl pot, and both inlet and outlet

ah, thats fine then, no NEED to change the tank then :)

You cant use an injection engine with a carb tank unless you fit a swirl pot.
Engine will stutter/die when cornering.

Actually, I've found carb tanks are fine as long as you have over 1/4 tank..

Aye, i still wouldn't tho.
You never know when you may end up with under 1/4 tank, get lost driving somewhere or something,Lol.

the injected models have a return pipe to and the mpi has a swirl pot found all this out when i changed my tank lol

dont be a lame **** change it. nobody always has 1/4 tank of petrol. everyone is skint at some point!

hmm...there is a return line in the engine bay of my carbed car, i need to get under it take a look at this i guess:)

all nova have a return pipe there are 3 different types of fuel tanks lol

im useing a carbs tank at the mo havent had any problems yet with splutering, will change is soon as it was only put on their cos my other tank had leaks.

There a few more than just three types of tank that came on a nova, but thats another story. Plus the 1lt doesnt have a return
