if im not mistaken rgm make them im after a pair for my mk1 and finding it very hard

Yep, RGM make them. They can be bought in loads of places, first one that springs to mind is Direct Car Parts (www.dcp-shop.co.uk), ?30 each and have both Mk1 and 2.

Personally they aren't too my taste but I did have them on a jamaican yellow 5 door when i was a nipper.

I wouldn't attach them with just the velcro though... One of my eyebrows whipped off on the M1 one morning. Might be worth extending the plastic with some fibre glass back over the headlights and use the head light bolts.... or just mastik them on.

2. tights over back lights to tint them
