First thing to think about is getting the correct poundage springs. At a guess, youll be needing at least 350lb springs (maybe more) on the front to support the engine properly. Once thats done, experiment with the ARB, but at a guess id say its a good idea.

Getting all the tracking & 4 wheel alignment corrected will make the most out of what you have.
True about the springs though.

if you haven't done so already try and lose all other uneeded weight, im sure i dont have to tell you that though. try redistrbuting weight as well. anything you can put at the other side of the car is better. things like relocate the battery etc. Deffo the best advice above though is to get the correct poundage springs i think more than 350 would be needed. best to go to a specialist!

have a look at peter loyd, are you near bridgend?
he might have gravel spec springs which would be good use for a heavy engine, if your looking for a cheaper way a lot of the road rally boys use TD shocks with gravel springs, god knows what it would handle like tho.
