1.7 turbo derv into nova/corsa

how much hassle is it to put the rengine frm my 1.7td vectra into a turbo diesel corsa or nova, mounts gearbox drivwshafts wiring etc

A lot.

Mounts, exhaust, rad, header tank, shafts, wiring, dash clocks etc. Lol

assuming its also an izuzu engine its not that hard providing you good with the spanners. you basically take the 1.7 back to a block ad then bolt all the 1.5 bits on

its a 1.7 izuzu td an it b goin into a 15 td nova or corsa what bits do i need to change? i got no trouble puttin engines together just never done a diesel

also if keeping the 1.7 box, you will ned Xe conversion shafts!

with that said use the 1.5 flywheel and clutch to keep the 1.5 box. you need to change everything over on the pulley side of the engine aswell as all the front of the engine as in the alternator bracket and stuff like that. how you get round to water pipe is upto you (you will see which one i mean) i did it by cutting the thermostat housing and having it re-welded to clear the alternator. you'll need some of the sensors off the 1.5, i cant remember which but you'll work it out. to explain it all is a nightmare but im sure you'll work it out

I Was Going To Change The Box But I Bn Told That The 1.5 Box Is Out Of Gears Flat Out At Under 110mph, Is That True? Im Upping The Boost To Around 20psi Can I Fit A Dumpvalve I Bn Told You Cant On A Derv Also which turbo and head do i use?

well yes they do runout of steam top end but thats not what dervs are about. they are all about torque and acceleration. dont fit a dumpvalve they are useless on a derv and you use the standard 1.7 turbo and head
