im in the prosses of buying a nova that i will be fiting a standered 20xe to but will be modified over time tbs and nos ect.
the car will be used dayley and will not carring passangers much
the car will also be used for track days 1/4mile runs and the ring.

i cant afford to run 2 cars due to insurance costs (loads of points on my licence)

cant decide what route todo
option 1 street sleeper
standered sr look with uprated suspention, brakes engine and decent stereo setup.

option 2 rally/track day style
striped out ,busckes, rollcage,fg pannels polycarb windows ect

im so tempted by option 2 but its not going to be very secure when left anywhere and will cause a lot of intrest by the police.

so long as you can prove its all street legal then the police attention would just be minor inconvenience, also i dont see why it should attract them.

If your going to be running track action frequently your going to be better with option 2 as option 1 sounds heavy!

Go half way between the two! Strip it with buckets but leave panels/windows/dash as it is. That way will be cheaper and best of both worlds IMO.

its going to be one or the other really dont want a mix of the 2.

looking at 5 or more track days and about the same or more 1/4mile days.
the car will be kept legal.

i think i will endup going for option 2.
can alway try 2 get a second car or go fully comp n borrow familey n friends cars for long jerneys.

the shell im buying is built for track days too.
