I only did two runs. It was a test day for me. I just wanted to see if the car was working as per spec.

I had the usuall sideways moment at the start of the day. Its not me warming up my tyres, its just me making a mistake on cold tyres:tard:

My first run ended before the time was up due to my rose-jointed gear linkage going sloppy. I didn't want to risk any damage to the new box, so pulled in. Also my dash went dead:confused:

Nothing major though I must have not done one of the rose joints up properly. So I tighened it back up and it was fine for the second session. I will be taking it out and seeing how I can stop it ever happening again though. I didn't fix the dash problem but heyho I might just bin it and get a proper one.

The second and final session came and went with no problems. So all smiles there:D

That box is just shexual. Well driven as usual mate, as per I had a good view of your tailgate until we got to a corner, then i didnt see you till we got back to the paddock lol.

lolYou do get some funny things stuck on the back of cars.
Its a C20XE with a lightened flywheel and throttle bodies. Not massivley powerful, but bops along nicley.

That Golf was quick! Im sure when I spoke to him last it was 200bhp or over. The Nova was better though the bends and under breaking. Its not a race day and the problem is that if a faster (or as fast) car on the straights pulls over for you like he did but dosen't slow up you are still behind them in the bend. so if your faster in the bends and around the track in general you get held up. In that situation I make sure that they know im there and out break them. Its what I had to do with the Skyline last year. You can do it within the overtaking zones if your a late breaker as well.

Its a standard XE running tapered throttle bodies, ARP rod bolts and a lightened flywheel.

I do have some steel rods, cams and a spare engine for when I decide to build a faster engine. To be honest that will have to be the next thing on the list, well maybe after I get a better dash for it.
