Recently fitted a Weber 32/34 DMTL carb on my 1400SR Nova, its got an exhaust system (including manifold), 1300 head and inlet manifold. Its alright once it hasn't been run over night if i use full choke, but if i drive it about and leave it running it cuts out, flooding? And if i switch it off and try and start it afterwards, i have to use full choke and it still doesn;t really want to idle properly. Ignition Timing has been slightly advanced and the mixture is pretty much spot on, Have been told its running rich under load though, but that shouldn't affect idle..............Any help will be greta please!
