rebuild the shell with gte lump then change it for a valver when you get a bit more no claims, i recently got a mint shell from col smith. it needs some light surface rust removing but it has got smooth tailgate, delocked doors, 16v brakes, and its slammed to the weeds. also its been resprayed bmw dakar yellow. i paid ?450 for it from colin smith. email him and see if he can sort you out.

IF you cant get insured on a valver then stick with the gte, mainly cos the gte/gsi lump is the same engine. and if the mileage is on the high side do a rebore and fully rebuild bottom end ;)

yea but i dont know if i can get insured on the valver thats y i asked unless u totaly didnt read the post! n the reason i want the gsi lump is coz the 1 that im buyin only has 1bhp less and no where near as much mods n 75k on it. and no i aint stacked my car surly if id done that i would be writing that i had damaged my wheel 2 due 2 the fact that if i hit the arch then it stands 2reason i would score the wheel?!
