How easy is it to fit a Mk1 Nova dash to a Mk2 Nova

I think it would be the case of a straight swap

But my dad thinks that everything will need to come out and be swapped around - heaters, etc..

cheers, Vaughan.

its probably the same, just get the pipes from the mk1 heater to the dash (if theyr different)

Cheers!

I'll need to see about it - If it doesn't fit i could always sell it

(its the brown one that would do a Nova Sport:))

Why would you want to put a mk1 dash into a mk2? Even if it is out of a sport it would look crap imo. Sports are 20 years old and your car is what 12/13?

Agreed^^. But imo the differences in styles is too great, it would just look odd...

if you like it then put it in, you will need the heater ducts and the mk1 wiring connecters

Bear in mind the mk1 dash is made from the cheapest, hardest plastic GM could lay their hands on all those years ago. This means it creaks, squeaks and rattles like a b*tch all year round as the plastic is contracting or expanding.

If your going to mk1 the mk2 then fair enough you would be able to pull it off...but if you only want to put the dash in and leave the rest of the interior as it is then you'll get laughed at imo

Theres nothing wrong with changing it around but the dash you want to put in is brown and the rest of the interior is grey :wtf: ! Like i said in an earlier post..just because its out of a sport does'nt mean its going to look good
