What Gearboxes Are Compatable??

Sorry if this thread has been done before but i tried searching and didnt return much.

I was wondering what gearboxes are compatible with the 13NV/14NV engines?

Can the F16/F20 boxes be used for example? or is it just F10/F13/F15 ??

I think it is f13/15. the bell housing on f10 is smaller. I think

ive seen a 1.2 engine on ebay with an F20 box fitted, this confused me, but it would be nice if it could be done as then the 20XE motorsport driveshafts and hubs etc available brand new could be used in my full rebuild project :thumb:

I believe it can be done. I know Phill GTE was doing someting with a smallblock engine and a big block gearbox.

F20 on SR engine?? Why? The gear ratio in SR box's are ace, and work very well on the small block

cause i would like to use brand new drive shafts etc, this is really going to be like a brand new nova when done, and the only ones you seem to be able to get hold of are the motorsport driveshafts and hubs and to my knowledge these can only be used on the big block gearboxes.

Are new driveshafts and hubs etc available from vauxhall for small block engines?
