1.0 mk1 nova

hello everyone i thought id give making a thread about my new nova that i bought off an old farmer recently.i dont know how interesting this thread will be though so i apologise in advance.the nova/corsa is an 89 mk1,very clean for its age and 95000 miles.i am pretty broke at the moment so even getting alloys for it has become a struggle!ill will put up pictures of it tomorrow,my camera is dead today.

my plans for the car are at the moment to change it to a mk2 front,lower it 60mm,get some nice wheels for it,and a full respray.i also have a bodykit that didnt make it onto the pink nova which i am debating to put on this nova.

im getting the car resprayed pink over black,or else the back of it black and the front of it pink.i know a lot of people on here will probably HATE that but its my car and i think itll look mad when its finished!

at the end of the day mate your car your choice so i hope it all turns out how u want it. i dint have much money to buy the stuff i wanted but just ask around and wait thats what i have done and i ended up with every thing i wanted so far dont give up oh and keep it a mk1 :D

If you've got the parts ready and prefer it then just go for it.
As for the pink and black its good to be unique.

As long as you like it then go for it.... personally I think it'd look pretty good.

i was thinking is was abroad -- but realised its irish

how come it doesn't have the typical irish reg eg.(NDZ,IJI)

all the older cars had to change the number plates over to the newer style!i got number plates made up for it but i dont wanna put them on til its resprayed.

get an all in one oldschool mk1 bumper...with the built in grill!

best mk1 bumper around..especialy if u can get an sr lower spoiler

no not going to,i have the two wings got,the grill headlights for it already,and a new drivers door and a flush boot.its impossible to find stuff over here for mk1 novas.even a new grill for it.i need to replace the wing and door anyway,there is only a small amount of rust on them but i want to get rid of all the rust now!

so for now the ,mk1 will stay mk1.this will be my new project.a friend of mine wants the mk1 to put a 2.5 omega engine into it and make it rearwheel drive.
