block advice needed asap

hi guys can you please help asap iam replacing the head in my mk2 1.4 sri the problem i have is the other block is identical apart from the block temp switch , the one to go on is a blank is there anyway this can come out , if so how? so i can set up the switch

Where are you referring to? There is no block temp switch?

its on the right hand side of the head if you were looking into the engine bay so must tell ya if over heating etc just like a circle on the head sorry not the block
