has anyone got any info and pics on fitting a cav shifter ,have searched old posts but most of the pics dont work anymore

If you check Dar's WIP thread you can see pics of one fitted.

As far as I know you straighten the bar, chop the inches out of the middle and weld it back together, and cut a suitable sized hole in the bulkhead for it to fit through.
