All private plates were originally standard issue ones, its just the dvla realised they could make a few quid by holding certain combinations back as they resemble peoples names initials an so on.

The only reason any plate is worth any money at all is because some fool somewhere is going to be willing to pay ?XX for it if you get me?
Something is only worth what the person wanting to buy it is willing to pay!
And to be fair id take a guess that plate could be bought for a couple hundred if that (at the most)
