E16SE air filter assembly

fitted my E16SE engine, but im missing a few bits

AFM is on its way BUT, how does a cone filter mount to it? I know there is a little rectangle mounting plate, but is there a piece of tube that goes from this to the cone filter itself?

Ive not got the parts yet, so i dont even know what a need tbh :confused: :wtf:

from what i remember the filter bolts onto the thingy with the shiny metal box thing lol

i know the filter bolts to the AFM, but the inlet on the filter is circuler, where as the outlet on the AFM is rectanguler?

thats what i want to know! The outlet from the AFM to filter IS rectanguler, BUT the inlet FROM the AFM on the cone is circuler?

I need a base plate ofr my k&n i know this, but then what?

the base plates the come supplies with the K&N kits are sqaure tho?? :confused:

does it fit? or your saying the outer AFM is round and your baseplate is square meaning it wont fit? really it should just bolt on aslong as its the right one:confused:

the afm that is on its way to me has a sqaure port where the base plate bolts to, however, said base plate has a rectanguler outlet

Pretty sure the square adaptor block bolts to the afm, but is has a circle end for the filter to clamp on.

The supplied adaptor with a K&N has a square inner hole, 4 screw holes to bolt to the AFM & has a circular outer edge to mount the circular end of the filter over.
