Nova may be Getting Stripped and Resprayed from a bare shell...

If so, i'm going to leave the interior stripped and cage it.

I've seen the odd car with some carbon doorcards, Can these be bought, or is it just a case of cutting your own carbon fibre ?

More importantly, rear carbon door cards!?

I may (literally MAY) be able to get these replicated, but its nowhere near a definete yet!

it would be more weight effective not to have any door cards?

on the other hand, who mentioned anything about weight tho?

I know your point entirely, but even WRC cars have interior panels & electric windows :thumb:

Group A probably will have to as they need to share a number of components with the homologation model, but WRC cars can be almost completely independent, and I doubt they'd leave stuff like interior panelling and leccy windows in

Phil, i want minimal weight, but still retain some comfort. A bit like Jims Car... but more track-orientated.

So i'm wanting some simple carbon doorcards to cover the front doors... As mad as it sounds, i'l be using it alot on the road !

well, you dont want to be phucking about with window winders on a flat out straight with tree's either side of your wing mirrors really :thumb:

all our rally cars at work have full door cards (albiet it carbon lol)

wrc cars have all sortsof creature comforts as they aint allowed to be under 1230kgsi beleave they may as well keep some things in there to make the driver more comfortable

Semi stripped, still got all rear panels, no sound deading what so ever, and carpet is still in along with...elec windows lol

With an SR engine, all fluids and half a tank of fuel weighted 820kg when i had a 15" sub and 2 amps hiding in there and a false floor but no spare wheel (weight bridge was in 20kg incriments)

New shell, ALL sound deadening gone, E16SE engine, NO sub or amp's, geustimate weight of about 780ish, will know exact weigth once its running

carbon sheet is pretty cheap tbh

You sure? A big enough sheets of C/F to do 2 doorcards would be expensive..
