Fuel Neddle

I'm not sure if this is "technical" but my fuel neddle keeps cutting out on me, it will be Registering 3/4 of a tank and then it drops back to below 0 to get it back again you have to rock the car... any ideas?????

Loose connection somewhere, have a look at the terminals on the sender/tank.

Check the connections at the sender, at the back of the fuel tank.

Its either connections mate or your fuel sender itself is passed it.

My guage only shows when its 1/4 or less or 6/8 or more anything in between it shows empty and that due to the sender. as the car goes around corners the needle will die then come back up, kinda the same as what you are saying about if you rock the car.

If your conections are all good try another fuel guage just in case otherwise deff the sender in the tank.

sender its on the bottom of the fuel tank, mght be a bad earth to lol
