timing question

Does anyone know if the timing marks for a 1.6gte engine are on the actual cam belt cover at the bottom or what? ifso does anyone have one for sale? cheers

the ignition timing would be, the cover your after only cost a tenner from vauxhall lol

The cam sprocket mark points straight up.
And the crank sprocket has a arrow, the oil pump has a cast indent. They should align.

You dont need the covers.

The marks on gte covers do Not relate to ignition timing, thats only on carb engines.
