Cant get on xbox live

My xbox360 wont go on the internet ive got the wireless adapter and it connects but stops at the ip address been on the web site but dont give that much info i've got a bt home hub if thats any help its driving me up the wall any help pleased?

go into your router settings and create a WEP code. It will be something like 64bit or 128 bit, write it down on a bit of paper, go to your xbox and find a mention of WEP code, and copy the code in there. It will search for your router and should sort itself self out from there. Sorry I cant be more exact but searche the internet and use xbox 360 and yout router make/number as keywords and you will definatly find other people with the same problem that have gotten help.
