my m8 is sellin me his gsi lump wiv bout 90k on this includes loom as i have a gte allready could i run the gsi off the gte loom wiv a few bodges? by the way the gsi lump has a d i s pak ? it aint bad all he has is a k and n and it ran 104bhp! n my gte wiv cam etc only ran 1bhp more! not set up though but still!

u cant use the cam on the new engine if thats wot u were thinking! it will take a bit of soldering to get it to fit but it is possible, everything else is the same i think!

what year is the gsi lump?

its out of a kplate but it may not even be a nova lump what happened is the car of my m8s was written off n they put what was lead 2 believe was a gsi lump when we went to the regal rr day they said it may be a corsa lump? his car was dodgy he bought it thinking it was a sri then our heartwells m8 saw c16se on it but its so bloody fast its realy torquey n yea i know i cant use the cam due 2 the d i s pak!

ah right it maybe an astra 1.6i 8v engine but it is the same as a late gsi engine anyway
