The plate is just a standard issue one from in or near Stranraer by the looks of it.
Other than that, was a minter!!

Blimmey keith.. it is just one of those 'i really shouldn't, but i can't help it' gigs.. Deffo rare, so i dont think you'll regret it. As long as you dont suffer too much from the purchase like.
Fook paying the price it will no doubt end for,Lol, already at ?1650 reserve not met.

I dont think i'll be buying it, i need to settle myself with the other nova. I've just always wanted a mint SR/SRI/GSI and i dont think the opertunity to own one like that will come too often.
However i feel that there's LOADS more out there just like that, as when i bought the mint 1985 one with 4k miles i thought i'd never see another, and there's been at least 10 i've seen with less than 20k in the last 2 years.

The reseve price is just horrendous.
Yes its rare at those miles but anyone would think the old dear bought it as an investment all those years ago.
Clearly the seller is an over helpfull son hiding his true fantasies of incest.
I hope it doesnt reach the reserve for the pure reason of the reserve being set too high.

You dont know what the condition of the car is like until you take it apart. Bet there is some rust between the door skin and the frame.

BUT I didn't think they did a mk2 1.4 carb model
I always thought the facelift was timed to include the move to catalytic converters etc.
Someone tell me I'm wrong, but I think that a nova that is too good to be true usually is, I know Brize Norton, with the RAF Jet base & I can't believe a white car could stay that good with all of that airbourne pollution. Also brize norton is in the middle of nowhere, there is no way a 16? year old car can do so little miles round there

Loads of MK2 Novas were carb. The SRI and GSI were injection, along with a few 1.2 SPI and 1.4SPI engines. All SR's were carb.
The car is the sellers mums and he brought it to there to sell.
