Nova number 6 bought today!

Some of you might know of this Nova...

Was owned and anally maintained by a lad called Neil. Bought it today, former concours winning Nova GTE :D

I think thats got to be 1 of the cleanest GTE's ive ever seen....very lucky man! How much did it set you back if you dont mind me asking?

Looks awesome, pretty much how i'd want a mk1 nova look myself.
I think Softstars would suit that a treat.
Altho the std rims look quite cool on there.

It is still very good, and probably one of the better ones for its age!

Plans: sod all I think, tidy up little bits, garage it, preserve it!

That was for sale for ?2500 about 2 years ago! It has a full rebuild IIRC.

Come off it! A near std Nova GTE isnt worth much & a regular car seller would laugh at that after seeing what an A1 GTE is worth in the Parkers guide.

Seeing as it never sold first time round & its been sat in the owners garage getting in the way, seems a fair price to me. A price that Simon is no doubt over the moon about.

yep, im happy with the price, and like you say craig no nova is worth silly money IMHO. I think its cheap, and yes keith it did have a full resto job, but needs some touching up, which i will do in time...

Oh and it'll be at PVS :D

that is one minter that!!!! keep it original, dont change anything, exept the boot vynal, keep it on the sr wheels, and mabey loose the rear euro cluster aswell.

lots and lots of miles yea, but fully rebuilt in 2002, prob on around 50k now. Its actually only average mileage for the year!

so what you think is a good price for a nova then. any less then 600 and you know its going to be a ****er. unless its some of the lucky gits you get on here lol. And i would pay that all day for that nova might even say a bargain. Im just waitin for him to sell it now :D

Theres no point in mentioning parkers prices.. especially with modified cars.. that crap went out the window with novas and cars alike years ago. People will always pay over the odds nowadays.

Anyways.. keep us posted with progress matey.
