How would i go about getting a steering wheel of without having one of them steering wheel pullers?

I've tried some brute-force and even a hammer and it still won't budge

Any ideas?

Cheers, Vaughan

Just ask iainel how i got his off. It took me 5 secs max and nothing was damaged. Little tap of the hammer an off it came. An that was one that no one could get off lol.

All you need is a big hammer, a 24mm socket (or bigger, i forget) and about a 6 inch length of solid bar or similiar. Support the back of the wheel with your knees an then **** the nut (after you have loosened it off of course.)

Ahh i'm sorted now -- used some WD40 (a fair bit lol) and some brute force (pulling from the top)

I think i managed to buckle the old steering wheel but who cares it has a new one now :)

Why dont you just go an buy a steering wheel pulley?

when i re-shelled my SR, i couldnt get my MOMO hub off, so i used a 240v dics cutter an removed the lot from the car instead :D
