Any ideas how to do this without rounding it off? I'm trying to remove this at both the rear axle and car end of the flexible hose. Is it a weird size by any chance?

No not wierd, just rusty Lol! It should be 10mm, you can buy flare nut spanners which have four sides which are idea for removing pipes. if you're gonna replace the pipe anyway then just saw it through.

I'm replacing the rubber hose, was plannig on keeping the solid ones running to the front of the car. So would preferably get them off without damaging the solid solid part.

I assume you can still buy new brake lines or will it be aftermarket items?

Get some wd40 on it, it should be a 10mm but the only tool i use for brake lines is mole grips as the spanners just round them unless there only a few weeks old. But like aid if your taking the line of fto replace then just cut it as it will make your life a lot easier.
