25bhp of nos per 100bhp of std power is the norm

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

2.0 16v back soon :D

Why big bang?? How do you know?? 70hp added to the std 80-85 =150 -160hp. The std engine components and drivetrain will take that. The big danger is not having it delivered correctly.

I agree CP, these little vauxhall engine are well tough, the bottom end (as long as it's been regularly serviced) will more than handle 100Bhp+ so will the transmission. I'd start with 25Bhp jets first though...

My m8 fits the stuff and with controllers and other bits of kit the 1.4 could take 75-100bhp easy. Trust me. Most people go for 50bhp on standard engines 1.0-2.0+

You need controlers to pulse the nos in at low revs but at high revs you would be gobsmacked at how much engines can take.

Alas the clutches seem to be the weak point on all the conversion he has done so now he recomends uprated clutches.

would be fine ste as long as you know of a good fill up place to go to cos will last 5-10min absolute max with a big 11lb bottle, and an average of ?30-40 a fill up lmao :D (at least thats wot the 2.0l conversions we've done and have seen done last)

Bends were made to rule and rules were made to bend

Can you actually fit NOS to a carb'd engine? Is there any DIY guides anywhere, I dont fancy paying 500 quid for a kit which only really comprises of a few hoses and a gas bottle worth about 50 quid.
