The inlet manifold will fit your head. I've got no pics of the original carb, but if you take the filter off, then on one of the top faces the pierburg will say pierburg on it.

if it looks like that and says webber on it is it a 32/34 carb ????

need to know b4 about 1 tomoz as i have to go scraappy before it closes

oh and i think the brake breather is like the one in the second pic

Its the MK1 astra one (Top Pic) that are ?70-80, the Mk2 inlet is the same as Nova 1.3 SR. I'd buy it at ?20

As you only paid ?20 for it why not spend the money you saved on a trip to a rolling road?

Do get it on a rr, as your chances of picking the correct jets for it to run spot on are slim.
Shouldn't cost that much to setup a 32/34.

Lol/\

Is that just fitting, and setting the idle mix tho?
As thats easy to DIY.

Its final jet selection that needs sorting.

Its final jet selection that needs sorting.

huh lol, is there no set jets to use then or is it a bit of a fit what works best?

How much bhp will i see (i know it wont be much) just so i have a target to beat

Someone elses engine thats running fine will give you a "ok" start point for what jets to get the engine running.

But every engine is different(down to different types of exhausts blah blah) so to get it 100% spot on it needs a rr tune.

Power gains wont be massive with a 32/34, there very similar to the standard carb, just with a mech 2nd venturi, and a manual choke.
Throttle response should improve tho.

yes the bloke said it would have a rr tune, can they tell the bhp when doing that
