Sorry, didn't know if this should be in styling or Technical.

Anyway, I'm after an electric areial for me car. I have got one in at the moment, but the motor seized up many years ago and I never got round to replacing it. My local Vauxhall parts dealer say they no longer do the electric areial for the Nova - Typical! Is this true, If so, does anyone know of an electric areial that will fit in the wing as a replacement? Vauxhall recommended the Astra one, but theres 2 problems...firstly, It's ?45+VAT and fitting, secondly they said it will come up at an angle across the windscreen, which could be a pain in the arse when driving. Anyone replaced there electric areial recently with another type? Please dont say get a beesting, as I don't want one :p

Cheers for any help, Jim.

get a bee sting bud!!! :p

I used one of the cheap ?20 ones from motorworld ages ago on my old beige 1.2, it worked perfectly and went straight up. bit of an arse to fit though cos there isn't much room to squeeze the aerial into.

2.0 16v on it's way soon!!! (again!!!!) :)
