i got my redtop started atlast new wiring loom and fuel pump runs alot better than ever but seems lumpy to be honest sounds like a flat spot its had new rings new shells head gasket hasnt been started for about 12 months not properly any way also there isnt a induction pipe on or air filter just afm any ideas of suggestions thx

call it 500miles to be safe

obviously dont rag the **** out of it, but also dont labour the engine.

So no 5k launches, but no 5th gear up a hill, with the engine struggling.

Consult who ever rebuilt the engine for the best oil to use and when to change it.

IIRC and from what i've heard the first lot of oil comes out after 100 miles, then change grade then that lot after 500 miles, then change again at 1000 to normal stuff?

May be talking total ****e but thats how my mate run his engine in, and how he was told to do it by bloke who done his re-build.
