what happens when you do an engine conversion and it goes into the garage for an mot or something but you havent declared that you have done an engine conversion? bit of a daft question but ive never asked or even thought about what would happen! cheers Ian

mot i believe they write engine size down.in a garage for work,what can they say:thumb: i wud declare personally.my mate had corsa 2.0l.it was down as a 1.2,he got pulled and they looked under his bonnet.they took car off him:cry:

ahhh that might be a problem im only 17 want something like a 1.4 sri or 1.6 16v corsa sport engine lol

probably best choice.u can always put in a 2.0l when ur ready.(should get a nova sr though then put 2.0l in.there less weight which equalls faster speeds:thumb:

cool, its just a thought, i had a go in my mates 1.6 16v corsa sport been superchipped/induction kit etc etc n its rapid! then i get ack in my little 1.2 spin lol just wanted something with abit more power lol

my mate had a 1.6 on T40s, got pulled still declared as a 1.0 coppers thought it was stock engine lol

you should be thinking more of the risk of what happens if you cripple someone and cant pay out because you have no insurance, rather then them taking your two bob car off you! :tard:
Exactly. Drive into the back of me because you think your car is "well fast bo innit blud" and your insurance is invalid (i.e. wrong engine), I will not be happy. Neither will the police. :roll:
Wont bother me though as my car has survived a Mercedes hitting it without a mark, so I don't think a Nova will cause much of a dent. Might write off your car though. Not that it matters, as the police would crush it anyway :D

well i have declared all now.so i am insured.and it does feel good that no one can say **** about me crashing.ok **** could have happened before.
