Hello!
I'm in the process of fitting a 1.8 or 2.0 injection 8v lump (haven't made my mind up yet!)to a BT yellow-coloured 2 doored base Nova from 1988. I've moved the left hand engine
mount and chopped the lug off the gearbox and the engine fits nice and snug. The only dilemma I've got now is driveshafts, as obviously the thicker CV joints from the bigger engines (F16 gearbox) won't fit in the hubs of the Nova, not to mention the shafts being too long. Any ideas?

You'l need a set of custom shafts, which are larger at the the gearbox inner cv's,
I think the cheapest shafts are about ?130, not sure on this, Or the more decent shafts are ?200 upwards,
Will have my set for sale soon, astra inners/nova outers as I'm upgrading to astra inners and outers, for my turbo engine,

you can get custom inner cvs that allow you to use nova shafts

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

2.0 16v back soon :D

Hi my name is Peter and i live in Sweden :) in my garage i am fitting a 2.0 16v engine in my Corsa -83 and i have the same problem with my driveshafts.
I have located a workshop that will fix the shortening off my shafts and new "splinse", my question is how much shorter are the driveshafts original vs 16V in corsa?

Sorry about my terrible english :D

Thanks!

/Peter
