Would i need to rejet the carbs if they came off a mark 2 escort 1700 cross flow? there going on a c16se :thumb:

um i think they would be alright but havnt had much to do with carbs

You would probably need re-jet them even if they came off a 1600 8v vauxhall engine same as yours, every engines different.

What jets/chokes do they have atm?

simple answer, yes they will need a rejet as the progression/driveability will be massively different etc.

they will probably spit flames out of the trumpets if you put them on just as they are, thats ok if it goes pretty much straight away to a rr to get setup properly. the power difference is massive between being setup 'ok' and properly
