My XE is running around 200BHP and I took it for a blast few days ago and got gps varified 131mph in 5th at around 4500rpm which I thougt was great.
more is to be had :thumb:
on a private bit of land i hope?? lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol
what spec is the engine to get 200bhp? is that ATW or ATF?

must be on T/S's or carbs! most you will get on standard injectin is about 175-185bhp.
You must have a WR box then!
4500 in 5th on an F20 is about 95-100....
In which case you will struggle to get much more!lol
Unless you genuinely have 200 bhp, and not just a chip and filter.

he hasnt even mentioned any mods.carbs are pushing at max at 200bhp.

I never got flat in top in mine(Straights on the tracks weren't long enough) with the F20 box but I could do 125 in 4th. That would be 166mph in 5th so yeah why not?
i have a wide ratio f16 on my xe corsa and although on the clock it goes well past 130...
i had gps and done 136

Nope not at all, I don't take my readings from a Nova dash. Where's your limiter set? Im thinking about 6,500rpm (If your really getting 125mph in 4th)
According to my information on a 195/50R15 to get 125mph.
F16 WR 4th = 6,459rpm tops out at 155 in 5th.
F20 limiter 7,750rpm.
F20 4th = 7,750rpm (130mph) tops out at 166mph in 5th.
Wheres the rubbish talk?

Micknova, why the interest in top speed? Are you planning on filming a video of you tearing up the M1 and you want to make sure the figures you shout at the camera whilst wildly masturbating are accurate, and not pretend? Or do you just want something to boast about to your mates? :thumb:
IMO top speed is a useless figure. Why all the car manufacturers still bang on about their cars top end is beyond me, but now reading all your posts, ive realised its for people like you! When are you ever going to take your car to the top limit of speed? On the public highway? If so, your a complete retard, and deserve to be publically flogged.
On a track maybe? errr, no, theres not a circuit in britain where youll come anywhere near it, and i can only think of one overseas, and thats the 'Ring.
On an Airfield then! Yes, you must be planning on driving on an empty runway sometime soon!
And your disputing Dars figures after hes just spent the last 3 months carefully selecting his ratios for his SC Dogbox. I can assure you his figures are correct lol lol

Are you smoking crack? Dar has spent the last 3 or so months selecting the correct ratio's for his gearbox. Therefore he has information which happen to be FACT in front of him. I know this because i spent a whole evening discussing it with him.
If you dont believe it, then thats perfectly fine, but i happen to believe that you like to insert things in your bottom without using lube. I have no evidence to back this up, therefore it must be true right?
