Could any one tell me where I might get an electric aerial to fit in place of the pull up one in the front wing of my MK1?

I got a universal one from Vauxhall some years back but it seems too big for the space.

I seem to recall a mate had a Hirschmann aftermarket one on his early SR a few years back...I've got one myself but have never got round to fitting it.

Would you know where you got this aerial?
I looked on the Hircshmann site and all they list are Bee Sting and GPS ones.

Steal one out of an alfa or a jag, the alfa ones are just really small and the jag ones have a seperate motor.

I've just asked him and he reckons he got it from CPC, but this was 3 or 4 years ago. It was called a Hirschmann Automatic Antenna and it cost him about ?30, he thinks...

Bang on, that's the exact one! He had it a couple of years, never jammed or anything. I'll warn you though, he did have to take the wing off to fit it, the motor box is too big to fit through the little aperture in the inner wing...

Good luck!
