help needed

i am rebuilding a 1.6 gsi engine and want to get a little bit more power and more reliability out of it, can any one suggest what parts to get and where i can get them from (performace parts) etc,dont reply if your going to say put red top in as i dont want to red top my nova

the standard engine is designed to be reliable, the only way your going to get more reliability is by getting forged pistons and conrods which isn't really worth it just for abit more performance.

could always fit a cam, from kent, piper or catcams. after that port and polished head. get it remapped.

Don't forget exhaust and inlet tho, a 4 branch manifold and a proper induction kit will help as well.
