soon i'll be putting in the 1.6 engine in running on t40's, as its carb could i carry on using the 1.2 loom or would i have to get the 1.4?

Done some searching through treads and can anyone tell me if theres anything im missing:
Engine
t40's
inlet (round port)
1.4 dizzy, coil, ign module
alternator lowering bracket
injection pressure regulator @ 3psi
throttle cable

You'll also need extended alternator tension lever, and maybe a different alternator belt. And a throttle linkage.
And maybe new jets/chokes depending on what the carbs are originally setup for.

Just keep with your loom, and wire the 1.4sr coil/dizzy loom, its only 3 wires.
Just join them to the ones going to your 1.2 stuff.

I cut the ends off two and welded the centre bit together to make one long one.

Or you can use one off a 2L 8v big block engine.
