looks good, but you appear to have duck tape over your heater fan hole? lol

what wiper is that too?

KPautomotive
09-04-07, 11:29 PM
haha i havent got round to fitting the blanking plate yet! whooops lol

Its a single wiper with a new style aero blade :)

Jon_nova1
09-04-07, 11:35 PM
it looks quite tidy better than some cheap conversions lol

im sure it'll look good when the bonnets all sprayed, the rest of it looks immaculate, is it a carbon fibre/fibre glass bonnet or did you just think the bonnet locks would suit?

KPautomotive
09-04-07, 11:39 PM
Its a standard bonnet for now - the bonnet pins still have the white plastic cover on them... they'll come off when the bonnet is painted.

I have fitted pins because ive removed all the bonnet locks/cable as im going smooth the slam panel off.

KPautomotive

KPautomotive
10-04-07, 12:08 AM
No they aint mate.

Dont confuse me with some of the chavs on here.

Jon_nova1
10-04-07, 12:10 AM
lol they just look very similar to the carbon effect ones, i remember having them on my old one, only due to the fact the previous owner had some so had holes, so i thought id rip all the latches out and fit lockable ones, and i could only find carbon effect ones lol

KPautomotive
10-04-07, 12:14 AM
Should have looked somewhere other than Halfords then.... maybe at a proper rally spares place?

http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5547/dsc037051.jpg (http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5547/dsc037051.jpg)

Oh look... is that bonnet pin latches i see circled?

Jon_nova1
10-04-07, 12:24 AM
I didn't go to halfords, and your design is exactly the same as the ones i had, the only difference must be you dont have carbon effect.

http://www.modworld.1st-hosting.co.uk/catalog/images/chpred.jpg

and yes those would indeed be bonnet pin latches, atleast i'd hope so otherwise it wouldn't be very good removing the OE latches would it??

I was only making a comment, no need for the sarcasm;)

Jon_nova1
10-04-07, 12:32 AM

Lol, i can't believe you actually use it as a daily driver, completely stripped with a cage etc.
Wack the heater back in for winter.

Just get one of them ones you plug into the tab lighter, cheap, probably crap but bwtter than nothing! Bet it goes well, show that pug whos boss!

Jon_nova1
10-04-07, 02:26 PM
no they're not better than nothing, i had one when i had no heating, and it was the crappest thing ever, it blew out cold air, you had to put your hand right next to it to feel heat, in the end i just put a fan blowing on the heater matrix at winter

KPautomotive
