finally i have a new job and am going to build my track/road car, however.... what i am looking for really is a light, good handler with a quick engine, cheap, cheap parts and will be worth a bit in the future. the other day i saw a mini which was like basically what i wanted to do to a nova. shouldnt i just get a mini??????

no, you should get a small block nova with engine work done ;)

1.6 16v would be my choice.

With some proper suspension, brakes, chassis mods.

u wont find anyone in this world that hates french cars more than me. u cant even sneeze near them as the engine will pop

try not to text type :p

I despise french stuff from the working on them point of view, but they handle so damn well out of the box its unreal... plus lift off oversteer is great fun :D

i agree with stu - youve not experienced a proper or decent french car if u rekon theyre not worth considering as a track car.. handling is theyre forte; build quality/reliablilty tend to be theyre weekness..
