Want bigger engine

Iv got a 1.2i luxe pluse and iv kitted it up pritty nice so i want a faster engine now. What is best engine to go in my nova or what will fit.

What price do you look at for 2nd hand engines, ill be able to have a good budget but what engine whould go nice in nova's, something above average and good for using it on the track.

What do you consider to be a good budget?
Wouldn't buy a s/h engine unless you knew it,or were going to strip and up rate it.
Is insurance an issue?, no point in having a 2ltr if you can't afford to insure it.
Can you do the work require yourself?, if not, have you got a mate that can?
Budget will disappear if you pay someone to do it.
