Does anyone know if I can fit my Weber 32/34 DMTL carb onto my GTE engine while I'm waiting for my twin 40's. If I use the 1.4SR manifold will this work? :-/

so i guest ur dumpin ur injection system, wont u av to change bits and bobs eg fuel pump etc. i think it will work just check the ports are the same shape cause the 1.3/1.4 are diff but i fink they should be the same shape on the 1.6 head

fuel pump can stay as long as you get a decent fuel regulator under the bonnet on the fuel line.

i spoke to a compant before about doing this, and they rated it as a bad idea. not sure why. he kept goin on about bad fueling bla bla bla. he said stick with the injection or get 40's.
