right then when i fitted the new rear quater and sprayed it up. i fitted the skirt back on and thought i prefer it with out them now.

but....theres obviously some downsides lol

were the side skirt is, if i take it off id have to spray the behind it as its pretty untidy with vynal still on it i think, and the other side behind the fin i need to do some welding and filling as its rusted from the skirt being there, and id have to spray it with a can and the same again along the bottom behind the skirt.

will i get a good enough finish for it to look ok? what you all think. will put a pic up in a min

cheers lew

on the other side it'll be a bigger part that needs spraying so might be more noticeable.

It would be easier for it to appear mint if you left them on and covered up the bad arch :D

yeh i know, but with the rear fin off it looks more solid sort of thing, i looked at the otherside and i think it just looks cheaper.

i want to spray those parts anyway, and that rust when i'v sorted it will need spraying so if i can get it turn out good i'll leave them off.

its realy the passenger side arch that im going to struggle getting a good paint job on i think, as the rest below the doors i think i can do ok

yeh i no that mate, but its just weather i can get a good enough job spraying it, i dont want it to look s**t lol

and i love the look of mine without them, but then i like them with them on as they sort of match my splitter and back bumper etc

well the cars going to have to come off the road again so will try it then, possibly be this week.
