spring compressers are a unbeliveble must unless you wont a spring sticking out of you head for the rest of your life and a set of spanners dont need much more than that mate

i as said, spring compressors (Halfruads ?19.99) and spanners/socket set

however if you fancy risking it without spring compressors a box of cable ties or jubilee(sp) clips will do the same job unsafely

you dont actually need spring compressors and i find the way of doing it without them safer but thats just me. other than that you need a 13mm, 17mm and two 19mm i beleave and thats it

This is what i used other week.

1- 19mm offset spanner
2 -19mm socket (1/2''drive)
3- ratchet
4- jack
5- axle stand
6- spring compressor
7- 8mm socket (top of the shocker)
8- WD 40
9- 13mm socket/spanner

i never found i needed spring compressors, and i took 40MM lowering kit off and put a 60MM kit on

thats why then because there shorter than standard springs,

i know, but i got a suspension kit, so the shocks would have been made to match and shorter :p

no i just put the kit on and bolted it all up while the kit was on the car, the engine weight compressed it enough, and for the rear i did the same, put both springs in dropped the jack slowly then bolted the shock in the rear mount

tbh i found that i dint need compressors with uprated springs and shocks. not sure on standard ones, as the only front standard spring iv taken off were my brothers on his xr2 but theyd snapped lol so no need for them
