They fit behind my early golf Gti wheels but my real quest is to get em under 13 inch SR alloys!

iirc the smallest wheel you can use is 14" 5.5J

I once had 2 ltr brakes on my sr and nova gsi rims wouldnt fit because of the offset

Plus GTE/GSi rims are only 5 inches wide, so there isn't enough clearence for 2ltr brakes (256mm disc ones)

Most of the nova three spokes came in et47.5 flavour, thats probably why they dont fit, along with not being quite wide enough.

Nova Gsi brakes are a smaller caliper/pad and 236x20mm discs instead of 256x24mm.

so will the 2.0 16v brakes fit behind the 14s in my pic then or is it a matter of straping them on then hoping it fits ?

They should just squeeze behind your wheels.

cheers bud ;)

just read on topbuzz sight for anyone else wondering same question

weights from being balanced must be on outside of wheel or they foul the caliper
