Ex Feature Cars-where Are They Now?

I have been looking at ex-mag feature cars on a VW site and thought it might make a good partner to the old-skool thread?

Does anybody know the whereabouts of any ex mag feature cars, EG Damien Pitmans, Jon Walsh's (I believe he still owns it?) K's turbo on 19's, the kitted flip painted one with a water cooler in the boot (used to come on here-Lancy was it?) silver XE with porsche brakes? MAP18W? A16VTB? H16VTB?

Has anybody got any old features to scan up of "Where are they now?-ness??

K's was stripped and broken iirc.

map16v has been on and off Ebay more time's than bhp chips for a gte and H16vtb was on there the other week.
As far as i know A16VTB is still goinig around as i see it at TRAX last year.
I sold mine G61RTT in feb then it was on Ebay with/in a month.

well the car was (Mark Watts old gte 2ltr turbo). was on there last year but with out Marks plate as that is on his vx.

F506 UNV (A16V NV), matt searles old dakar yellow xe'd gsi, appered on e-bay last year, fully stripped of any of it's recognisable features, and with a 1.3. Bidding reached 160 quid and it didn't meet it's reserve.

From what i heard, the thing is hanging. Whoever was selling it was using pictures from when Mark still owned it. Reports said it had been living under a tree for years and had more rust than the Titanic.
It kept turning back up for sale because people were winning the bid and then rejecting the car after seeing it in the flesh lol.

The plate is on the VX now, accompanied by the astra which is running M18 APW, which according to an exited phonecall i got a few days ago, is finally running!

H16 VTB lives on. previous owners had it about 8 years and hardly used it!

How come the guy who put the ad on Ebay said it had the engine conversion 7 years ago? It's more than 10 years iirc? Also, it says 220bhp, wasn't it 260????

He chopped the roof off, put 20's on it but never got around to finishing it.
