How do most people wire the boot solenoid up? diagrams would be helpful! thanks :thumb: :thumb:

I do mine with a live to the fag lighter or something, and earth maybe to the same earth as the rear window wiper?

any other suggestions as wiring isn't really my strong point!

alot of people wiring it into the rear wash/wipe as the wires are already in the boot and have flushed there boots - no wiper.

I was wanting to keep my rear wiper so is there any other way?

Theres an earth just below the boot lock catch you'll prob find it if you lift the carpet slightly. (editied: come to think of it you wont be able to use that lol im so stupid :tard:) IIRC I think theres a live wire behind the left hand side boot panel that covers the inner wing. Saying this as I wired in a boot compartment light to illuminate the boot when open, unless im mistaken.

As mentioned you should be able to use some of the wiring from your rear screen wiper.

Let me know how you get on poss some pics as I wanna fit a solenoid and delock my boot.

Well i've done it, but though a proper fuse box, and used the loom and button that came with the solenoid, well it's one wire that needs a constant live from behind the dash, to an inline fuse, to the button, to the boot/solenoid and then just earth to the boot, job done.
