View Full Version : Nova disk/ hand brake cables,.... again!!
right was trying to fit my hand brake cables today but with no joy? i was using a new nova long cable (black rubber part was longer than the one that came off??), and a mk2 cav short, which is too short by a fair way to reach the drivers side lug! any one had any luck with other cables?!!
atm i have the nova long going to the pass side wheel! is this right also!
i used mk3 astra rear discs on mine, and the mk3 astra and handbrake brake cable, and modded my nova handbrake handle!
dan as soon as you discover correct set up, please tell me because no-one seems to have come up with a definitive answer yet.
i'll be takin mine all off this weekend so i'll post some pics up of it!
well just been playing again, im going to have to lengthen the thread bar on the mk2 cav cable! having abit of trouble with the nova cable aswell due to the exhaust! is this how the metal connector sits, on top of the beam?

and made up a bracket for the other end of the cables, and welded a threaded bar to the handbrake lever for adjustment
