LOL, subaru finally realised that competing in a car twice as big as the opposition was a losing battle lol

I actually like the look of the WRC

As already said on mig, looks like a sportied up new Proton.

The original version is still the best.

Wow I cant think of one car where the later version look better than the original, they just seem to be on a downward spiral.

Lee

I didnt think this was replacing the impreza saloon though? Thought it was just adding to the lineup??

to be fair, the impreza has had a damn fine run for 10 years.... time for something new to come through.

yer but you cant just change the whole set up its moved away from a saloon car to a hatch back its a floop but it will sell by the thousands

ALL SUBARUS (apart from the series1 imprezza saloon) HAVE ALWAYS LOOKED CRAP!!!!!!!!!

ahh but they can ;)
yanks are getting eco concious and want "small" hatchbacks (read small as 5 series sized lmao), so this is the perfect way to get into that end of the mass selling market. Remember, engineers nolonger design cars, accountants and marketing people do :(

still slap a wrx/sti sticker on it and the muppets will buy it in droves here too.

Exactly why Toyota killed the MR2 and Celica, and have nothing but eco boxes now. No current sports cars, and look how much money they're raking in!
