SR Clocks into 1.3 L

Does anyone know whether the clocks from a
G-reg 1.3sr will go straight into a 1.3 L model 5 door?
I want to know if the rev counter and all the fun stuff will work without any modification or extra wires. Is all the wiring already set up?
Would it just straight swap and work?
I know it would fit - and how to take it out and fit it, just want to know if the rev counter etc will work.

Nope.....it won't all work straight away, 'cos a normal 1.3 doesn't have the green wire for the Rev-Counter, or the oil-pressure sensor unit on the engine.

The Rev-counter is easy to get working, as all you have to do it run a wire from the coil (here's a pic: www.novabug.co.uk/Coil-RevCounter.jpg ) to the connection on the back of the clocks.

The Battery voltage gauge will work without any mods.

The Oil-pressure gauge needs the SR oil-pressure unit for the back of the engine, for it to work. I think the wire should already be there in the loom (blue and yellow wire), but you need the sender.
