Most mk1 clocks look same as mk2 anyway.

put them in the hole and see why they dopnt fitt look at it and see what you need to do dur comon
when you mod cars it part about trying it out and finding what work and how to do stuff. gie it a go and see what needs to be done then if your still stubed ask

its sorted now,im getting some other clocks mate, thanks for help everybody,
SO you like them just because theyve got white dials? lol
Why not sell them and buy a MK2 white dial kit or a set already done and fit them instead? Or like Timmy said, have a go yourself. I cant remember anyone trying to do this mod as its essentially like removing ATE callipers to fit a set of Delco's!
plus your going to need to think aobut how to run rev conter an oil pressur and so on.

lmao, i bought some mk1 clocks with lockwood dials, thinking they'd fit my mk2, but the didn't the plug for mk2 clocks are smaller, so won't fit mk1 clocks, iff you catch my drift lol
