will 1.6 shocks and springs be ok with an astra 8v gte lump?
suspensions floaty as so am wanting newens....
all help wanted as im new to big engines and that. cheers :)
uprated shocks and courteay valver convserion springs would be the best bet

1991 - 1992 Mk2 Astra GTE engine. 8v with powerboost.

isnt an fse or anything - the 8v engines have a kind of powerboost type fuel regulator as standard unike the 16v red tops etc.
means a lot more torque and picks up better than a 16v - bett off the line and ive hada few good races with cav engined corsa's to prove it hahaha

20SE = 122bhp and 127lb/ft
c20xe = 150bhp and 150 lb/ft

And beating a corsa proves nothing, theyre lardy lol
