x16xe engine convesion

i want to put a x16xe engine in my nova, would it have to be out of a corsa or would one from a vectra or astra do , what about the amount etc:tard::roll:

Any, but its better to get a c16xe so you dont have to bet all the imobilser system (ecu, key, barrel etc)

thanks but what about the engine mounts, whats d easiest way to get a few more bhp from one. i know bout throttle bodies but there too dear

Mantzel style inlet gives up to 20bhp gain with a remap.

The 1.6 16v in a vectra/astra is x16xel, and is only 100bhp.

Get a c16xe, or x16xe(tigra/corsa) The x16 is cheaper insure than c16, and powerwise probably un-noticeable difference.

Ebay has copies of one, works well. ?200 ish
BEst with a remap.


Baxter-Meriva has x16xel :thumb: I dont even think a xel inlet would fit in a nova bay tbh.
